[X] James laments that it seems Edublogs is being blanket URI blocked by Australia’s school filters. That’s pretty crap. I hope this can be fought - there are some useful comments already at James’ post - but in the very, very short term, a crude workaround might be to set up a SuprGlu blog which re-posts blog entries aggregated from RSS feeds. (More on SuprGlu from Teaching & Learning Online).

[X] Catherine has a really interesting post, “Why Not to Use Blogs as E-Portfolios“; I don’t agree with all of it (more of that another day), but it’s a detailed post with lots of think about!

[X] Apparently there’s a list of the Top 20 Edublogs … should I be worried that I’ve only heard of five or six of these?
